DEEP BLUE & HAZELNUT

The 76 sq.m. apartment was created for a family with a small child. Initially, it had a standard layout with an absurdly small kitchen, a separate bathroom, and a disproportionately large entrance hall.

The main tasks were: to change the layout so as to allocate an office for the hostess, to enlarge the kitchen and bathroom, and at the same time preserve the living area. Technically, this required a large number of approvals and works to strengthen the structures.
As a result, the apartment turned from a 3-room apartment into a 4-room apartment with full-fledged areas. It was also possible to create a comfortable resting place on the loggia adjacent to the bedroom.

Also, a big problem was the lack of insolation. Neighboring houses gave a strong shading. The most obvious decision seems to be to build the entire color range exclusively on light shades. But we went the other way. Unable to create a bright space, I suggested making it intentionally intimate, with dark accents.

Only for the children's room, the brightest one, we chose airy colors: white and sky blue.
The idea fully justified itself and managed to create a comfortable and conducive atmosphere for cozy family evenings.
The color scheme was selected from the preferences of the owners: the color of natural walnut, dark blue, and gray.
